In 2020, Jordan Brand dropped a women’s only “Lucky Green” for their Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG silhouette. The drop was an ode to Michael Jordan’s 63-point game against the Boston Celtics in the old Boston Garden during the 1986 playoffs. This year, the “Lucky Green” gets a whole new look with its “black toe” color blocking, while still paying tribute to the Boston Celtics with the Green & White complimenting color palette. A closer look at the tongue of the sneaker, and you’ll find modified branding as the Jumpman logo has been replaced with a green NIKE Swoosh.
This release is set for an April 15, 2023 drop but hasn’t been officially confirmed by NIKE just yet.
