Poppy O an artist from Camden, New Jersey proudly representing his city as he climbs the ranks in hip-hop. Poppy O just put an album out called “Trap Melodys 2” available on all platforms. Going viral back in 2020 with the song “Leech”, he was able to land a feature with The Game on the “Intro” and a feature from OT The Real on the remix.
Poppy O was raised in Camden in a tough neighborhood called Ablett village. Attending Powell school elementary 1st to 3rd grade, Pine Point 4th to 8th grade and high school alumni to Camden County technical school. Poppy O started his pursuit to stardom around the age of sixteen heavily influenced by rap groups like The Lox, and artist such as DMX, Nas and Lil Wayne.
This combination of talent gave Poppy O the ability to grasp Wayne’s melodic style, DMX storytelling ability, and the gritty lifestyle as once portrayed by The Lox. Definitely well versed in the art it only helps Poppy O’s unique voice would grab your attention if nothing else.
