“Make You Smile” is a record that shows Kev The Pope’s versatility and real rap effort. It’s a Hip Hop tune with a mixture of R&B. Kev let it be known that he really wanted to cater to the females with this one but it also can be a song men sing to their ladies. In regards to the feature on the record, Kev knew adding one of the most buzzing women in the entire NYC rap scene in Billy B (think Lola Brooke’s smash single “Don’t Play Wit It”) would bring a unique flair to help make the record pop. With production handled by Kenny Saint aka Ouusantos, Kev has his eye on the prize when it comes to making his name stand out this 2024. With recent tour dates alongside Griselda Records Rome Streetz under his belt, Kev is continuing the path to stardom by taking the stage at SXSW this coming March in Austin, Texas.
