DJ Wagner, Rob Dillingham & AJ Johnson GO OFF In Front of Allen Iverson!!

The hype surrounding incoming Kentucky combo guard DJ Wagner is only growing.

Ever since the Camden, N.J. star committed to the Wildcats, he’s traveled around the country and put on shows, whether it be with Camden High and fellow UK signee Aaron Bradshaw, or on other grand stages like the McDonald’s All-American Game.

It doesn’t take much watching to understand why he’s considered one of — if not the — best player in the 2023 class. That was showcased once again on Saturday night, as he took the floor with two of Kentucky’s other 2023 signees, small forward Justin Edwards and point guard Rob Dillingham at the Iverson Classic.

After Wagner won the 3-point contest earlier in the week, he and Edwards earned Co-MVP honors in the game, as Team Loyalty defeated Team Honor 131-124 at Kean University in Union, N.J. Wagner was also named the National High School Player of the Year by the event.

Wagner was also named the Co-MVP at the McDonald’s All-American game down in Houston, as he scored 19 points — all of which came in the second half — three assists, two rebounds and two steals. It was a breakaway dunk and two free throws from the consensus top-three player in the class that served as the game-winners in the tight-knit game.

The Wagner lore grows, as the beginning of his journey as a Wildcat nears.
