DJ Wagner is still ranked as the #1 player in the class of 2023 and for good reason. He went undefeated in his high school season and then dominated 17U EYBL while only being a sophomore. His game is super calm and he is surgical with the rock. I can’t wait to see how he continues to evolve in the next few years he is the hardest player to match up with showing ability to score and defend anywhere on the floor. Having the ability to know how to break down a teams defensive scheme, be a star without breaking the teams chemitry and a unmatched work etic off the court I believe we are witnessing the development of the future face of the NBA. With an upcoming game against Lebron James’s son Bronny who recently lost his shoes in a freethrow shoot out, I’m sure it will prove even more of why he deserves #1.
