Jimmy Dasaint’s, Philadelphia Urban Film Awards, was a hit event full of the cities top writers, directors, creators, artist and more. From long time supporters like city councilmen David Oh, activist and philanthropist Purple Queen & Tommy Blackwell, artist & actors such as Black Dinero, Dell-P, Rome Ya’Favorite Rapper the list goes on. I even had the pleasure of giving Nakia Dillard my pitch to land my next big role on a netflix film. The night was filled with good vibes and anticipation to see who would take the honor of bringing in the gold for their never ending efforts to fulfill personal goals and dreams. Acting and theatre itself being one of our oldest forms of entertainment and with so much talent in our city alone it was an honor to not only be present to witness but also nominated for “Hustler Of The Year” and recieving the “Puttin In Work” award.
Big salute to Asia Sparks, SippinWitSammie, Trizzy The Mouth, Chris Kennedy and everyone who was in attandence on a night created for the city.
