Though a part of Jordan Brand’s Spring 2022 line-up all the same, the Air Jordan 13 “Del Sol” hasn’t garnered as much of a response as the Air Jordan 6 “UNC” nor the Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs.” But with the March 19th release just around the corner and official images finally surfacing, we may soon see applause for this latest take on MJ’s 13th signature.
The titular “Del Sol” plays a small but important part here. Its sunflower-like yellows are applied to the shoe’s suede, which wraps the lower profile, heel, and the majority of the midsole. Black neutrals balance out the latter throughout the tread, while also making a more subtle appearance across the vamp. The dimpled and smooth leathers adjacent opt for a bright white instead, whose finish is better suited for the red Jumpman along the tongue.
Finished with the AJ13’s usual holographic emblem, the “Del Sol” is scheduled to release on March 19th at select retailers as well as Nike SNKRS.
