Multi-Platinum Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and actress Monica has announced that she will be hosting VH1‘s new true-crime series, Infamy: When Fame Turns Deadly.
Infamy continues a busy year for Monica. The show follows the launch of the Verzuz x Peloton partnership that kicked off with their record breaking Monica v Brandy matchup, Monica’s recent surprise appearance with multi-Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Brandi Carlile at The Ryman, her partnership with OLAY, and a special edition of MoTalk featuring Dr. Fauci.
“Infamy: When Fame Turns Deadly” premieres June 7 with an eight-episode season laid out. The series will “explore celebrity cases where notoriety and fame turn fatal.” The cases covered on the first season include the murder of NBA player Lorenzen Wright and the investigation of his shocking death; hip-hop artist on the rise Young Greatness from New Orleans.
