Happy Birthday, Big Sean!
In celebration of another year of life, Big Sean drops off a new video for his fans. In “Lucky Me/Still I Rise,” Sean showcases his lyricism as he performs the opening record alongside his producer.
“If they want my spot, then they gotta come for me. Just know I want this shit more than whatever it is you want from me. Lucky me.”
As the video transitions, introducing “Still I Rise,” flashing colorful lights fill the video screen which quickly pans back to Sean letting loose on the mic, once again.
The simplicity of his delivery in the video is to be appreciated as it shifts the focus to his actual bars and lyrics.
