America won’t let the ladies be great.
Following Cardi B and Meg Thee Stallion’s “controversial” performance during the GRAMMY’s, the FCC (Federal Communication Commission) received SEVERAL complaints from CBS viewers. Many of these complaints used words such as “offensive,” “obscene,” and “pornographic” to describe the risque performance.
One complaint, obtained by WFAA, read: “The outfits they were wearing and the movements they did were absolutely disgusting. This network should face very stiff penalties.”
Many other complaints pointed out the choice of wardrobe, saying they were “barely dressed in a thong,” while another suggested that the “GRAMMYs need to require the artist not to be performing any types of sexual acts and require clothes to stay on.”
