ICYMI: Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show!

Nostalgic af might be an understatement. The Super Bowl LVI halftime show was every Millennials’ dream come true – this rings true for me, and I’d like to think it does for most. Some of my favorite artists of all time took to the field for one of the biggest nights in sports & entertainment. This year’s halftime show at the Super Bowl did not fall short of expectations!

The OG’s Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg set the tone early with Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent joining in between songs. And representing for the ladies was the Queen of R&B, herself, Mary J Blige! Set in LA, it was only right to bring the West Coast vibe to the field – spreading all that California Love.

Even Anderson .Paak made a special appearance on the drums during Eminem’s electrifying set – where he also took a knee, an ode to Colin Kaepernick and a slap to the NFL for their mistreatment of Kaep. Dre even played a tribute to another West Coast legend, Tupac, by playing a snippet of “I Ain’t Mad At Cha” on the piano! This was truly a California vibe – mixed with some East Coast flavor, and it was DOPE AF. Even superstars like, Lebron James, were caught on camera catching a VIBE.
