In 2019 there was initial plans to release a documentary on Janseh Ricardo Onfroy better known as XXXTentacion. The enigmatic rising star was gunned down at the age of 20 at RIVA motorsports in 2018. His estate is finally ready to premiere the film, and the location has already been determined.
The film will be shown at the South By Southwest, which is a mashup of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals. SXSW will be held in mid March in Austin, Texas. The film will show unseen footage of X, including commentary from family to romantic partners. The film is directed by Sabaah Folayan and will be streaming on HULU this summer.
