This Project “The Good Book” is Likmoss’s latest attempt to de-glamorize this game that so many of his peers tend to glamorize. The state that the country is in dictates the need for an alternate narrative. The tone of this project is sort of preachy, yet it still offers that raw gritty, no nonsense approach to each track. The marriage between the bars and the instruments utilized throughout the “Good Book” gives the listeners’ ears great balance. Likmoss has the uncanny ability to keep the Subject Matter in line with what the streets gravitate towards, but without the romanticism. Each member of Crew7 tailor made each production to accentuate Moss’s nonchalant flow with a great mixture of ever changing beat patterns and tempo switches. The Good Book will force you to listen, learn and be entertained.
Gaining the ear of the youth takes exactly what Likmoss is equipped with, being amongst the people in the community is the first major key. Most of the time you find the stars have to come back and “visit” to speak and be with the people. With distance comes the lack of direct influnce. To live in a place like Hollywood Hills, Calabasas or Miami and hoping to change the hood, truly a backwards hustle. Being accessible to the people you want to influence has been a staple for the movers in the culture. Real change comes from within the charity, the guest appearances, the ig lives and youth mentorship from the man who has all been gateways for Likmoss to really initiate change.
Glorifying a lifestyle and educating the people about the lifestyle through art can sometime be misconstrude or misunderstood. When Likmoss creates on record he speaks from first hand experience in order to empower his listners. Understanding the difference is an art in itself and most of our youth have yet to master. Hollywood has a great way of shading the truth and allowing the fake to run off with it. Likmoss a member of one of the most prevelant street organizations in America has allowed his pain to recreate a lane for the next generation. Speaking the truth of what he expereinced helped feul, motivate and incourage the violence to stop and the progression to of the culture to begin.
The youth respect those who are active and unfortunatly the big brother role or the much needed O.G.’s are not given the time of day because their glory days have come and gone. Likmoss on the other hand is at the brink of his national breakout as an artist, not only a street legend but also a mentor to the youth. Changing his enviorment by thinking business first has allowed others to walk with and learn hands on.
With solid music, a positive mindset and a gameplan Likmoss has shown the blueprint and is now walking living proof of “faking it til youy make it” not being the way out of our troubles. The honesty of the hood reigns true in every lyric and Likmoss will continue to impact inner cities across America and the world.
Likmoss, is one of the last MEN standing. A lot of entertainers may get ya attention with antics, Moss prefers to get it and keep it with pure lyricism and bars that resonate with the streets, for those in the past, present and the survivors.

Likmoss partnered with a talented group of Industry Producers Known as “Crew” to create his most polished project to date. “Good Book” This project is a sort of manual for the Sturdy to follow. Dealing with the remnants of the Public trial of OBH Records Moss was left to change the trajectory for the company. First he had to restore the honor and now it’s all music and content. Moss’s previous project #OUTTAHIBERNATION was released straight to consumer exclusively on likmoss.com in order to wet the appetite of the die hard supporters while maximizing earning potential during this turbulent time. It has since been made available on all streaming platforms.
