It’s the sequel we’ve all been waiting for. Back in 2000, Gabrielle Union co-starred in “Bring It On” with Kirsten Dunst. A movie that focused on rival cheerleader squads from very different neighborhoods. It was a popular movie amongst Millennials who have been eager to see if a sequel would eventually surface. Now, over two decades later, it looks as though our wishes have come true.
“We’ve been developing a sequel forever. But for folks who don’t exactly understand how long development can take in Hollywood, that could be five minutes or 50 years,” shared Union.
Back in August of 2022, Union took to TikTok teasing the idea of a sequel with the original characters.
