Once considered long-time friends and collaborators, it looks like the relationship between Pusha T and Kanye West has soured. Amidst all the controversy surrounding ‘Ye right now, it seems as though so many have abandoned the rapper – who was once so heavily respected and loved.
“He’s not speaking to me now. If you wain’t with it, you ain’t down. And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it,” shared Pusha as he spoke about ‘Ye’s hateful agenda and rhetoric. It appears as though Pusha immediately distanced himself from the rapper after all of his anti-Black and anti-Semitic comments came to light – saying he was “beyond disappointed” in the remarks.
“It’s beyond that and it’s nothing to tap dance around. It’s wrong. Period,” he continued. “But to me, it’s just me and him having a difference of opinion yet again. ’Cause we done had this for years.”
Pusha also commented on some of the remarks Ye made in a recent interview with Alex Jones, on his show “Info Wars.” If you recall, ‘Ye went on to praise Hitler and the Nazis, and acknowledge that mental health could have been the reason. Absurd, right?
“I heard about this new stuff [on ‘InfoWars’]. I don’t know. It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around.”
Beyond the Kanye madness, Pusha T has also been celebrating his album “It’s Almost Dry” and its nomination for “Best Rap Album!”
