Lavender Sunset was a passion project that Bandit The Rapper did not even know he was passionate about until completion of the first single “FADED MEMORIES”. Always a creative, but more important, always a fan of music Bandit was inspired by listening to recent musical releases using the Synthwave sound and past musical releases from Prince, Madonna, A Ha and Billy Ocean. All this combined to be the driving force behind Bandit the Rapper’s newest LP release.
This project for Bandit was not only about paying homage to the past and living in the future but it is also an epilogue of enjoyment and self-indulgence. Each track symbolizes something different, from “DRIVE ME CRAZY” all the way to the title track “LAVENDER SUNSET”, Bandit is taking us on a self-chauffeured ride through nostalgia and fun.
