F*ck BET, f*ck BET.
After finding out he had received zero BET Awards nominations, Lil Nas X took to his Instagram to post a diss aimed at the entertainment company. Life teaches us to let grudges go, but the outspoken artist said what he said. The words “f*ck BET” are repeated in the opening of the record he plays in the IG video as he dances joyfully (& trolling-ly) to the record. Since the nominees were announced, Lil Nas X has been vocal about how a Black entertainment company doesn’t seem to care about Black artists – particularly gay Black artists.
“Black Gay People Have to Fight to Be Seen.”
