Philadelphia native ,James Mathis, better known as Jimmy Dasaint, is back at it ready to bless the culture with more hits. Last year Dasaint released two urban films “THE KARMA EFFECT” and “YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE” on Amazon prime and Tubi streaming platforms that were highly appraised. This year, Dasaint decided to step it up another level. In summer 2022 Dasaint will be releasing three new films “THE TRAP”, “BROKEN TRUST” and “NOBODY’S SON”.
Jimmy Dasaint has already written and published over 25 novels while becoming a mentor, drug and gun activist and philanthropist in the city of Philadelphia. After being released from Federal prison in 2009 Jimmy started the Philly hip hop awards to showcase the music scene in his hometown and has continued to highlight the city withHis true -life documentary film “American Hustler” featured on Amazon Prime.
