I first met Teyana Taylor a few years ago after she headlined a show at The Highline Ballroom in New York City. After putting on an electrifying performance, I sat down with the Princess of Harlem, for an exclusive interview. Since then, I have followed Teyana’s (highly underrated) career and admired her mastery of true craftsmanship in dance, music and performance. She’s a true artist – and fashionista!
Teyana deserves her flowers and as a fan, I wish she received more, but real ones know exactly how talented she is. I just strongly believed she has so much to offer the entertainment industry. Sadly, it seems as though we’ll have to see her flourish in other endeavors as her music career comes to a close.
Today, Teyana Taylor announced her Farewell Tour, “The Last Rose Petal 1.” Her final tour kicks off with a return to Los Angeles in August, with stops in Las Vegas, Houston, Miami and more.
