Quasey was born Daniel Affortu in Ghana, Africa and moved to Virginia when he was 1 years old and ultimately the Greater Atlanta area when he was a third grader. He attended high school in Georgia and went on to Albany State University where he played football and after an injury knew he wanted to be a singer. He graduated from Albany State University in 2015. He was once a member of a r&b singing group and after some internal turmoil, left to pursue his solo career. While a member of the group, Quasey opened shows for Babyface, Fantasia, Lyfe Jennings, Mint Condition and Kevin Ross. A r&b singer, Quasey returns with his followup to “Take Off” , which reached #1 on two outlets: ATL WEB RADIO, where is stayed there for three straight weeks, and on DJS UNITED GLOBAL/XSQUADDJS where it stayed for a record breaking seven straight weeks. The followup The single was “Ándale (Come On)” and it was targeted for the ladies and went #1 on several charts also. His brand new single is “Secret Admirer” . The song is accompanied by a music video and Quasey has lots of interviews and promotions happening on this hot r&b single.
