Roots Picnic is baaaaack!
For the past few years, Maria Myraine has been covering the iconic festival in Philadelphia, chronicling its never-ending support of GOOD MUSIC, art, and vibes. Kicking off the Summer, Roots Picnic returns to The Mann at Farmount Park on June 4th and 5th. The weekend-long festitivies will include headlining performances from the Queen of R&B herself Mary J. Blige, along with The Roots. Summer Walker, Wizkid, Jazmine Sullivan, Keyshia Cole, SWV, Rick Ross, Musiq Soulchild, Kirk Franklin, and more are also set to take the stage. If you’ve been to Roots Picnic before, you’re familiar with the various stages as artists simultaneously rock their sets to a massive crowd of long-time supporters and fans.
