Philadelphia rapper Leaf Ward has gained recognition for his introspective, honest lyricism. The West Philly native debuted in 2016 with the mixtape On My Own, followed by Stuck In Da Trenches and Da Trillest the following year. Ward showed his artistic growth with the 2018 coming-of-age EP Concrete Leaf. In 2019, the newcomer received a shoutout from Philadelphia hero Meek Mill. His seventh mixtape, 2020’s On My Own 2, features the streaming hit “They Forgot 3.” The rapper is part of fellow Philly artist PnB Rock’s New Lane Entertainment label.
