Fresh off the release of his album LOYALTY, NYC born, San Diego based rapper Joey Trap has unveiled the video for his new single, ‘PROFESSIONAL’.
Enhancing Joey’s natural flow with a touch of autotune, ‘PROFESSIONAL’ has a classic 808 beat with a modern trap flare, a theme consistently seen across Joey’s catalogue as he simultaneously creates a nostalgic yet brand new sound.
Creative directed by Joey himself, the video for ‘PROFESSIONAL’ follows Joey as he hunts down enemies, who appear to be human but are laced with mechanical body parts and microchips that Joey collects. We see the same chips somehow have turned Joey on himself.
Regarding the track, Joey said, “Professional is self-explanatory, I wanted to level up with this album and what we did was just that. My first full autotune album & we starting it off like this.”
