Joey Maurice born and raised in Milwaukee, has a clash of classic 90’s era brash and bravado rap, mixed with todays smooth melodic sound of hip hop in 2021. His 2020 album, “Black Fist” was both a celebration and reflection of black life from the artist’s point of view. Executive produced by Ian Elliot, the album included a mesh of raw samples and production mixed with the keen vision and lyricism of Joey Maurice’s journey through 2020 as a black man. His upcoming album, “Blue 3” the third installment of his “Blue” series which started off at his November 2015 career. “Blue 2” dropped 02.12.21 with production from LORD FUBU, Dougie On The Beat, Dom J, PK Beatz and Goodb!e and features from Ly.Ebss and Bankreaux.
